Theresa was born in Vancouver, BC and now lives in Edinburgh, Scotland. She has published her debut collection of poetry, Settle (Vagabond Voices, 2016). Her poetry has appeared in journals across the Atlantic, including Be The First To Like This: New Scottish PoetryBest Scottish Poems 2013, Poetry Review, Scottish Review of Books, theScotsmanCanadian Literature, and many others.

She has a PhD in Scottish Literature from the University of Glasgow, where she was an Overseas Research Scholar and Faculty of Arts Award holder. Her research interests include post-modern Scottish literature and contemporary poetry, including avant-garde and digital poetry.

She is a literary critic for Scotland’s The Herald newspaper and the Scottish Review of Books. She also work as a university tutor and researcher.
