Catriona Lexy Campbell is originally from the Isle of Lewis and has worked in the Gaelic arts since early childhood as a writer, actor, poet, performer and theatre maker. Following her degree at the University of Edinburgh (M.A. Mental Philosophy) she began working with Eden Court Theatre in Inverness as the Gaelic Drama Artist for Skye and Lochalsh and spent two years working with schools and drama groups all over the region.
