Friday: Michel Faber on his career with Canongate.

In 1999, Michel Faber’s Some Rain Must Fall won the Saltire Society First Book of the Year Award. In 2015, his Book of Strange New Things won Scottish Book of the Year. Scotland, he noted in his latest acceptance speech, has become home and accepted him like no other country could. In a pre-recorded opening to the festival, the current Book of the Year winner discusses the influence Scotland has had on him as an author and his years with Canongate, who have supported him through his career.
